I am a local GP Appraiser and the Practice Lead for Practice Based Commissioning.

I qualified from St Mary's Hospital, Paddington in 1986 and then took up GP vocational training at Cuckfield Hospital.

I became a GP Principal at Cuckfield in 1990. I further specialised and gained a Diploma in Sports and Exercise followed by an MSc in the same subject. I am now a GPwSI in Musculoskeletal disorders and as such can accept referrals from other GPs in the local area in the upper limb clinic at The Vale.

Patients can make appointments to see me if they think my skills are appropriate to their problem. Alternatively book with any of the GPs and they will ask me for advice in management or advise you to book an appointment to see me.

I supervise Foundation Year 2 doctors who come to Cuckfield for 4 month attachments.

After qualifying from Cambridge University I spent 3 years in Pathology and medical research before entering General Practice. I have worked at Cuckfield since 1995 and have been a partner since 2005. I have run Dermatology clinics in Primary Care since 1992 and have been a GPwSI (GP with Special Interest) since 2000 accepting referrals from other GPs in the area. Currently I work with the Community Dermatology Clinic at the Dolphins Practice on a Thursday morning. I also have an interest in Diabetes care.

I am a GP Appraiser and GP Trainer and usually have a Registrar working in the practice with me.
